Skincare for Instant Results
2024Our team was tasked with creating a cross-media campaign to highlight Sephora’s newest skincare innovations and encourage clients to shop skincare at Sephora. The campaign needed to communicate that Sephora offers skincare with fast results and the most advanced products for brightening, plumping, acne, and texture concerns.
We built the creative direction around energy and movement to reflect the speed of skincare results. Our team developed dynamic visuals that featured varied product angles, gestural smears, repetition of product, strong directional lighting, and bold cropping. Bright backgrounds and tiled set designs also added a sense of depth and vitality. Our designs lived across both in-store and online environments. In physical spaces, customers encountered our campaign through oversized window banners and immersive shoppable tables, paired with clear, category-based product groupings to make the experience both explorational and intuitive. Online, our fresh, energetic visuals were enhanced through subtle animation, playful goop smears, and clean, minimal typography, maintaining clarity and ease of navigation while retaining the campaign’s sense of excitement. My personal contributions consisted of significant involvement during the ideation phase, pulling photography references and sketching out initial beauty shot compositions and product layouts for photoshoots. I also designed supplemental in-store graphics and product placemats, and executed a large portion of the digital assets from concepting ideas to final delivery.
The final campaign not only captured customer attention, but also strengthened Sephora’s position as the go-to destination for innovative skincare solutions. For the creative team this campaign was also particularly exciting as it succeeded at pushing the boundaries of how skincare can be photographed and presented, transforming familiar beauty imagery into something modern, kinetic, and full of life.
